Gaumont Path�Archives moves to HD
Gaumont Pathé Archives moves to HD with Opsomai. Since 2009, Gaumont Pathé Archives has relied on Opsomai's Opsis Media software for the conservation and the on-line distribution of its 15.000 hours of video archives. In 2013, Gaumont Pathé Archives acquired a 2K scanner in order to digitize again its films, and asked Opsomai to design a technical platform for archiving and transcoding these new HD formats. Thanks to this new platform, which is going to be installed in the coming months, Gaumont Pathé Archives will propose the on-line delivery of HD formats as soon as Q2 2014.
